Our Story
The Owl was in the planning for a very long time!
Ever since the Weston to Clevedon shared path was approved, we have hoped to open a cafe offering brunch, light lunches, drinks and cakes for walkers, cyclists and other passers-by.
From humble beginnings as a pop up bar in the Cider Barn, with a tarpaulin for a roof and no electricity, we have harnessed our passion for bringing people together, village life and a wish to create a warm and welcoming space to provide this mixture of cafe, event space, bar and meeting venue.
With the Pier2Pier route now in full swing we open 5 days a week, Wednesday to Sunday 10am-3pm. We update our Facebook page regularly so do keep an eye on it! Click here for Facebook.
The Owl serves freshly baked cakes, delicious coffee, brunch and light lunches, please do come and say hi, we are always happy to chat! We also have a fully licensed bar!
We proudly support local suppliers and our fresh meat comes from Bakers of Nailsea Butchers and our eggs from Yew Tree Farm just down the road. Most of our team live in the beautiful village of Kingston Seymour or very close by, this is very much a family and friends affair!
